What We Believe

Thy Word, O Lord

 Endures Forever

The man who has the Bible, and the Holy Spirit in his heart, has everything which is absolutely needful to make him spiritually wise.  The Bible can show a believer how to walk in this world so as to please God.

It can teach him how to glorify Christ in all relations of life... It can enable him to bear afflictions and privations... to bear persecution... and give up liberty and life rather than deny Christ's truth.

Is he drowsy in soul?  It can waken him.  Is he mourning?  It can comfort him.  Is he weak?  It can make him strong.  Is he in company?  It can keep him from evil.  Is he alone?  It can talk with him.

OUR VISION

The vision at Grace Bible Church is to glorify God by establishing a comprehensive training program that ministers to every spiritual and physical age group at their present level of maturity and to provide a healthy environment conducive to stimulating spiritual growth.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Grace Bible Church is to reflect the servitude and love of Jesus Christ...

  • Leading the unbeliever to Jesus Christ
  • Leading the believer in worship
  • Encouraging the believer in fellowship
  • Training the believer with God's Word
  • Equipping the believer for outreach

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • There is only one God who manifests Himself in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • The Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, in the original manuscripts of the 66 books of the Bible is inerrant and infallible truth to man.

  • This Holy Scripture is our standard for truth, holy living and decision making.

  • Because man is a sinner and has broken God's commandments, he is alienated from God and is unable to restore a relationship with Him.

  • Jesus Christ, God in human flesh, was divinely conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a perfect, sinless life.

  • Jesus Christ died a substitutionary death for sinners and was bodily resurrected from the dead to provide salvation.

  • Those who by grace put their trust in Christ alone as their Savior receive forgiveness of sins, a relationship with God, and eternal life.

  • Every believer is responsible by the power of the Holy Spirit to live a holy life according to the Scripture.

  • There is a future, personal, bodily return of Jesus Christ who will set up His kingdom.

  •  A literal, blissful heaven is the inheritance of all believers, and a literal hell is the horrible future for all unbelievers.

We welcome discussion on our beliefs and would be happy to talk with you!
