AWANA Pledge

I pledge allegiance to the AWANA flag, which stands for the AWANA clubs, whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him.

AWANA

The children's AWANA program is scheduled on Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30 p.m. September through May. Our 2007 season will begin on September 10. Registration for AWANA will be held on August 27 & 29.

The following is covered:

Handbook Time - 30 minutes

This is the club segment when leaders lead clubbers in their achievement of entrance booklets, handbooks, handbook reviews, memory packets and recitation of memorized Scripture sections.

Council Time - 30 minutes

In this segment of the club, singing, testimonies, announcements and Bible messages are featured. It is a good time for fellowship and learning.

Game Time - 30 minutes

This time features unique games on the AWANA circle for the clubbers. It is a time for the kids to enjoy and have a great time.

In an effort to help prevent serious injury, we encourage all participants to wear pants and comfortable running shoes. Because of running, jumping, and physical activity, the kids will be safer if they are wearing adequate clothing.
